Yo ho ho, I thought I'd share some holiday spirit with you all.

The story happened in August, but I haven't seen anyone else post anything about it here.

Need mo money for dem winching programs in our communitiez.

A pair of murderous South Carolina teens robbed and fatally shot a good Samaritan after he helped them pull their car out of a ditch, police said Tuesday.

Deon Frasier, 17, and Michael Dupree-Tyler, 19, were arrested at an apartment less than six miles from the intersection of Durant Ave. and North Jimtown Dr. where police say they robbed and killed 45-year-old Chadwick Garrett around 11 p.m. Monday after he helped them haul their Dodge Durango out of a ditch.

Garret was pronounced dead on the scene by medical officials, a spokeswoman for the Charleston County Coroner's office said.

One of Garrett's family members sounded distraught when reached over the phone Tuesday afternoon.

As sad as it is, this is why I do not stop and help anyone, ever. This year since the the snow started flying I have passed about there vehicles stuck with this kind of thing on my mind. You just don't know who they are.

Searching ar15.com using Google for the names of any of the people involved turns up nothing; a search for them relevant facts of the story turns up nothing as well--i. e., man killed by people who's truck he pulled out of a ditch. I'm not horribly embarrassed.

Here locally a couple weeks ago there was a couple who stopped to help someone on the road who was acting odd....he ended up stabbing them both. They lived, but the man who got stabbed will have some major nerve issues in his arm from what I understand.

And this dear friends is why I don't stop to help anyone . I'll call 911 and make a report at most . The crap pulled on I-16 between Macon and Savannah will break you of being a warm and caring human. Highway Patrol in that area told me to never stop and think you are rendering aid .
