That will more than likely be replaced.  

Its rare to spend a lot of time repairing body panels like hoods and trunks nowadays.  Labor time and insurance companies make it tough to justify repair over replacement of those panels.

Even if they were steel body panels those would be replaced.  Just cost too much for labor for most jobs on mass made cars.

Looks buckled to the point that there is damage on the understructure and some pretty defined kinks on the side. Would most likely crack and separate when any attempt was made to pull back to shape. Aluminum is a bitch. Insurance estimators fresh out of training (six week wonders) have been brainwashed to believe that it just requires a little heat and aluminum will work out just as easy if not easier than a steel panel. Not so.

yep.
my older brother learned to work on aluminum body pieces fairly effectively from dealing with some antique foreign sports cars, but it was always a huge PITA. If he could have replaced it cheaply he'd have done so.
