Damn... it's only the Internet. Why bust a capillary over something so mundane and trivial?
I sort of understand what part of your intentions were... to raise more funds for the site. With that in mind, it should be the decision of the owners if, when and how contributions should be accepted. The Avila's don't have the time to monitor this forum 24/7/365; that's why they have mods. FWIW, why the concern for contributions to this site when you've been registered since Feb 2001 with over 3000 posts and haven't become a Team member? I'm not trying to put you down, just curious is all. |

Sorry about not replying in your other thread..I was outside watching fireworks.
The reason tc6969 asked about your thread and the reason I told him to lock it is very simple. Anyone who wants to use the AR15.com logo,name,etc to raise money for anything..needs to get the approval of Juan or Ed, period. tc6969 asked you if you had received approval to use the site to help generate money for your "dead pool" and you didn't answer him. I know nothing about it and seeing as I'm in daily if not hourly contact with Ed, Eric and Juan I assumed you didn't contact any of us. Your comment here I really don't understand the purpose for locking it, as it [b]wasn't really official yet[/b]! I was just throwing it out here to see if I can catch any interest! I did it to have fun and to benefit the site. But it looks like some friggin' Canadian just wants to throw his weight around! Verified that. As for who do I think I am..well I'm just a firearms enthusiast like you but..the Avila's entrusted me with a staff position based on my ability to make decisions on my own among other things.. We appreciate your offer but you must understand..we can't let everyone who wants to use the site name or reputation to raise money do it without some sort of control over who does and doesn't. So..check with Ed or Juan and if they say it's okay..fill your boots. Thanks for the offer to go have a drink but I'm quite a distance from Montreal![;)] |

Everybody loves to smell their own farts but hates to smell other peoples farts?????
Ever fart and it makes you hungry because it smells like a really good meal you just ate? Ever fart and you all of a sudden get light headed? Ever go out on a date and hold back a killer huge fart for like 3 or 4 hours? Man as soon as you drop her off at her house and get back in your car you fart for like 5 minutes straight! |
