Even the original Dracula is worth watching (ever notice there's no music during the movie?). Bela Lugosi didn't speak English when that was filmed, he memorized his lines phonetically which adds an eeriness when he speaks.

30 Days of Night is the only one that I ever thought was scary.  That bird's eye scene where they wipe out the town was great.

Buffy.  (The movie)

While not my favorite of all time, Van Helsing has turned out to be a decent show.  I was expecting it to be a little campy like Wynonna Earp, but it's not.

I'd add Near Dark, and a personal favorite: Fright Night (the original), and call this list good.

Here's something different - If David Lynch made an Iranian vampire western filmed in an industrial city in California it would be A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night:

It's rather slow, but if you're patient the cinematography is excellent and it delivers vast quantities of creepy.  Several scenes will stick in your head.  But I'm not kidding about it being slow.

Actually all ass for me. But I can appreciate a nice pair of knockers.

On a more serious note, Salem's Lot freaked the fuck right out of me as a kid.

This right here.

Honestly, there hasn't been a truly great vampire movie, besides the original Dracula. And it doesn't age well.
But I vote for 30 Days of Night as a really good, creepy and scary vampire movie.
