Can someone suggest a good BB gun that I can buy to pratice my marksmanship.

The criterias are:

pump or lever action
under $200
not much noise when firing

Thanks for any suggestions!

anschutz 2000.

oops...i thought you said, "under $2000".

the least expensive one used by the junior team costs about $600...a feinwerkbau sidecocker.

avoid anything with a break-barrel action. look for a side cocking model if accuracy is what you are after.

I got a Beeman 650GT from Dick's Sporting Goods for $100, and it suits my purposes fine (shooting .5 inch groups @ 10 meters).  Of course, it's a break barrel. . .

You want a pellet gun, not a BB gun. In your price range there are many good guns. The key to accuracy is quality pellets. Avoid the cheapo chinese pellets. I have a $40 Chinese spring gun that shoots better than I do with quality pellets like RWS.

Its hard to beat a Gamo Hunter 220 combo.  That includes a scope, and shoots 1000fps for $150.  I love mine.

I have a RWS 350 Magnum which RWS claims shoots .177 pellets @ 1100fps.  I am [blue]VERY HAPPY[/blue] with it.  Thay also make it in .22 caliber.  The Model 34 and 36 are more in your price range, around $200.  The 350 magnum I paid i think $329.00.  They are made n Germany.  The 350 came with a two stage adjustable trigger...Definatly check them out, you wont be dissapointed!!!!
