It will be a question of reasonable force, he should state the Hummer on top was an accident and not intentional and the badguys caused the wreck OR he was just justifiably following them, they brandished a gun and he defended himself. He needs to make a few hoops for THEM-them being either the perps or the prosecutor, hard to tell in a situation like this- to jump through to prove otherwise

That would have been in the news here, but as of yet, I have not heard ONE thing about it.
