Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Journalist knows his AK's

I watched Frontline/World  tonight and one of the segments was about Iraq. Towards the end of the piece the journalist says to a old man with an AK "let me just have a look at your gun". You see him hold it for a second or to, hear a click  and then journalist hand it back and says something about needing to watch the safety catch.
