Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Need help with a Bushmaster lower

I have a chance to buy a pre ban Bushmaster rifle with a serial number of 1,3xx. Will this lower look like a AR 15 lower that I am used to,Bushmaster Mil spec of today. He said it is a cast receiver. Thanks guys, David

Personally, I wouldn't buy a cast alluminum receiver.  Cast steel, I can live with.  Cast alluminum...... its just a bad call.

I don't think Bushmaster ever made cast receivers. Anyone know for sure?

I have a bushmaster with a serial number less than 850, it's forged.
