I got 12 decks from the same run that was sent to the US Embassy in Iraq. Don't have enough to really sell them. And I'm gonna give several to friends, etc. But I "might" just give a couple decks to some of you guys. So what should I make people do for them? |

You can make them ask.
Can I have one? Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez. |

I dunno. Maybe answering one or more of lifes' big mysteries:
Send a set to the member who posts the most interesting use of MARPAT. Someone who can put to rest the debate over whether or not the AK is better than the AR. Prove where Jimmy Hoffa is buried. Is Elvis alive? etc. |
|
I got's me some too...how can you tell if they're from the samn run as the embassy? I'm pretty sure mine are, but I was wondering if there was a signifier.

The local 7-11 has the decks for 4.95. Unfortunately they don't sell the beretta.

Yeah send me that Taurus, and I'll be just fine!
Every time I open my mail somebody is trying to sell me some of those cards! I know you said you weren't selling them,so I have something different to ask you! Where is the post group buys of Redhawks at? Don't want to buy one, just see if I bought mine right! So hows about some of those cards? Bob [:D] |

LMAO, I can pretty much guarantee you the decks at 7-11 are not the real thing.
Second, it is a Beretta, not a Taurus or CZ. Furthermore it ain't even a 92FS but a M9. Oh and Winston Wolf, you were soooooooo close. [:D] |

That's not the Embassy run. The first Embassy run is a plain gray colored box. That camo box is the 2nd run that everyone else has.

There are some out here that actually prefer a Taurus over the M9! We were trying to be sarcastic enough to get your attention! But augmented steer I think the Wolf really needs these cards, couldn't you reconsider your stand on this? And Wolf looks like to win this deck you will really have to flame old Steyr real hard! I paid 499.00 for my satin stainless Redhawk, too much? Bob [:D] |

SA
Honest question here. In the case of the cards how to know/prove they are from the original run? Just curious now that the cards can be found for sale from eBay to 7-11. |
|
What do you care about that? These would be a gift from SteyrAUG,son that ought to mean something special to you! Why do you think we are trying so hard to get them?
SteyrAug ain't no EBAY or 7-11,he's a stand-up guy whom has made many group buys for us(you) members. We are just bashing his balls because we like him! You can buy all your Christmas gifts yourself, but it just ain't Christmas unless someone surprises you with(guess what a gift)! So buy em if you like but the best cantaloupes are the ones that you steal from the coons and crows! Sorry about that but Alvin York was on again tonight,I'm wearing my bibs tomorrow! Bob [:D] |

I thought there were very few M-9s sold, all to marksmanship team members so they could have the correct sights.

As for the ones in 7-11, I haven't seen them and don't know what they are selling. I'm sure someone is making a decent commercial run but I haven't seen what is out there to compare manufacturing logos, etc. All I know is what these are. And just noticed a "typo" above, these were from the same run (4-18) that were sent to the US Embassy in Kuwait (not Iraq obviously). Anyway I've got two decks available for "give away" and just need to come up with ideas on how to decide who is gonna get them. |

beretta sold some M9s with two hi-cap magazines to the public about a year ago. my dad bought one NIB from a dealer for $650 I think.
and I think the person who posted the funniest thread on "gay" backrubs should get a set of the cards [:D] |
|
OK, here is how I'm gonna give one deck away.
The person who posts the best (to be determined by me) picture gets a deck. If I don't consider any picture "worthy" I reserve the right to withold the cards until a suitable picture is posted. Keep in mind the conduct codes before you automatically post Traci Lords pictures since that is a pretty easy win. If a picture is "questionable" feel free to post it in the Team Member Forum, and yes this does give Team members a distinct advantage. if pictures are REAL questionable you can post it on full-auto.com when they finally get it back online. however you run the risk of someone else winning until fa.com is back up which probably won't be until Monday. Picture content and subject is at your discretion and original pictures are more deserving than posting pictures gathered on the net. So break out those digital cameras and impress me. [:D] |
