A thread about this new rifle seems to pop up every 2-3 months, but nobody ever says if they actually have one. Are they available yet? Anybody actually handle, let alone shoot, one yet?

I don't think they are available yet.
IMHO I think it looks too much like a toy and could be broke easily. Mabye a poor mans Styer Scout |

I think it would be a great trunk gun, but from what I heard they're a little too expensive for that - on the order of around $600. You can build your own AR for about that.
If they were under $300, they'd be on to something. |
