Personally I'd never but a Springfield XD , the gun was first introduced as the HS2000 and was sold for $100 less then the Springfield, personally I don;t think its worth $100 to write "Springfield" on the side of the gun. .50 Beowulf, thats what my wife is getting me for my birthday in a couple of weeks :) |

I am having the same dilema as to next pistol 9 vs. 40 , one thing to consider is what do you already own , commonality of ammo is something to consider....
