President Bush and Speaker Hastert are playing with fire on the renewal of the "Assault Weapons" Ban.  Hastert has said that a decision hasn't been made not to bring it to the floor, after Tom Delay said it wouldn't reach the floor.  If the Republicans want to lose the house and President Bush wants to be a one term president they can go ahead and "renew" the "Assault Weapons" Ban.  I know many  Republican and conservative gun owners who will vote for anyone other than the Republicans if this ban doesn't sunset.
