Why haven't certain foreign firearms been manufactured here in the United States (like the AK variants) so that we didn't have to worry about the stupid import ban?  For example, why haven't we seen any post ban AUG's or Galil's (i'm talking about real Galil's, not that thing Hesse calls a Galil)?  Is it because the manufacturer won't sell the copyright license for that particular firearm?  Is there not a demand in the American market for postban versions of these guns?  Am I completely missing something here?  Also, does the '94 AWB stop the import of hi-cap mags for civilians?  I thought it just stopped the production of them on US soil.  Thanks.
