If a future AWB prevents the sale, purchase or transfer of specified firearms, how does one pass down a collection to an heir?

Are there any current restrictions regarding inheriting AWs?

Thanks

Answer to your question as you posed it is obvious...if the law prevents the transfer, sounds like the gun doesn't pass down...currently the case in the PRK, but no federal resrictions yet.

Current state law should cover you...try the legislative section of the NRA website.

Maybe you ought to be thinking about a gift transfer now; you get ownership, current owner retains posession.
