Yes, I know there is a sub for knives but I see cool shit posted here in GD by people who aren't in the sub then forget what the title of the thread was and then get bored trying to search through every random knife related thread in GD.

This is what I usually carry for long bike rides:

A waved Spyderco Delica and a Kwaiken by Dynamik Blades aka Smithy

On further drinking...the rendezvous is really better. Still not sure it is worth what they are asking, but it is way better than the double rye.

The double seems to be getting worse the more I drink of it, which you would think it would get better with the more you drink...

So I got some to compare.

The double rye isn't bad, but the rendezvous rye is much smoother, more refined, clearly a superior product for sipping.

once the vernor's went in to them, you couldn't tell much difference (the rendezvous was still a bit better). at twice the price the rendezvous lost on that count.

Speaking of vernors, discovered the local licker store normally carries it, there is a shortage right now for an unknown reason, but they normally have it and at a good price.

In rye news, FFL is picking up Sazerac for me

So many funny bits.

Jim Carrey hadn't worn it out yet so it was just great.

When my mom thinks she's about to do something stupid she says "Let me tell you something..." (I didn't find out she watched the show until I was older)

One time I did three snaps in a z formation and a guy at work threw his hands up and said "Holy shit I haven't thought of that in 20 years"

Wiped off, zero blade damage.

Not the best cable sushi blade but not bad.

I think the 187 is still the undisputed champion, but, it has quite a bit more leverage to work with.

It’s what it is designed for, if it is to your taste.

Not sure why they haven’t done a waved version like they did on the matriarch. For that reason alone, matriarch may be the better choice. Or wave the civilian yourself. Or get an Emerson karambit or commander.

I'm really low speed but I think so. Spyderedge, hooked blade and ground to Slash.

The Matriarch has a waved variant though which would make it faster to draw.

I teach myself so there's no class for that. Poor picture quality is probably because its taken on a cell phone.
I'm not in school this week because I took it off for hunting.

When I go to other people's houses and see their walls, every time I think, fuck I am lucky. My kids would never do that.

I also think everyone else sucks at parenting.

Your kids are very well behaved. That's rare these days.

My son got his hands on a Sharpie when he was probably 3 or 4.

He drew on my PC keyboard (back when they were beige), monitor and case. He then felt it necessary to decorate my 32" tube TV. He also colored some hair in on his legs while he was at it.

This was all within about 5 minutes while the Mrs. was cleaning up the kitchen. I was at work, when I walked in the door, her first words were, "don't kill him...".

Yeah, but you probably left the sharpie out on purpose as a test. See if he would win the Future Designer Scholarship.
