Yes, I know there is a sub for knives but I see cool shit posted here in GD by people who aren't in the sub then forget what the title of the thread was and then get bored trying to search through every random knife related thread in GD.

This is what I usually carry for long bike rides:

A waved Spyderco Delica and a Kwaiken by Dynamik Blades aka Smithy

I'm not big on bowie folder blades (or those black fingernails) but that blade with those scales is pretty dope.

Nice. I was looking at the 911 originally because it was similar to the ESEE Junglas I was looking at and then a Rodent 9 popped up and I was curious how Busse's 52100 would work out

Is OK.

Similar to the Russel's I'd say.

Dude, I still haven't had the confidence to use any of these fancy dyed/stabilized handle scales I've been sitting on yet.  A slab of timascus would probably get buried with me at this point. Lol

So...

Some of you may remember back when my SIL was on the road and I asked her to stop in to Buffalo Trace if it was convenient, she did, and then told me she she bought one bottle of BT Cream from my long want list. I had a small hissy fit.

She was trying to throw me off they scent...that sneaky...

Said she got the Weller's on the way down, saw it was limit of 1 per customer, figured it must be good, got the rest on the way back. On the way down she was only one in the store, on the way nack it was packed and people were bitching about the stuff that was gone, must have been some good stuff briefly (I think she mentioned it was just Weller's).

So I ask how she wants payment...and she says merry christmas

I found out my wife gave her Rothy shoes for Christmas

I tried it a long time ago, wasn't overly impressed. I don't know if they're distilling their own yet. They got their peepees slapped some years back because they were sourcing the whiskey from Indiana, I think, but advertising it as made locally in Templeton.

I then reminded my wife she got me nothing for Christmas this year.

She told me to shut up, said we had agreed to that in advance

The Schrade Uncle Henry was my Dad's EDC knife before he passed in 2015 and my brother gave me the Kershaw Cinder this past week in solid copper scales which is a pretty cool little knife. I carry these three things daily in one pocket and plan on doing so for as long as possible.
