Yes, I know there is a sub for knives but I see cool shit posted here in GD by people who aren't in the sub then forget what the title of the thread was and then get bored trying to search through every random knife related thread in GD.

This is what I usually carry for long bike rides:

A waved Spyderco Delica and a Kwaiken by Dynamik Blades aka Smithy

I've been putting another knife on Matt's list when he completes one.  So, it's that time again.  Next one will be similar to this, but steel guard and ironwood scales.  Carving on the ironwood, too.

There's usually a reason for a deep discount, i.e. nobody wants them.

Personal preference ti or CF. Personally, that small knife, CF might be too light for my tastes. I would do TI. If I had any interest in that sort of thing.

Which I don't.

My wife couldn't handle the workload during the day (we also have an 8 year old daughter) and she was kind of a rescue situation as the breeder had been ill and inattentive and we did not get her until 16 weeks of that.  We re-homed her to a great family in Taos, NM where she can prowl some acres and they will stay in touch.

Mail call, kinda.

USPS listed a package as available for pickup because the "Locker was full." It was coming to my residence, there is no locker. Showed the lady behind the counter and she had never seen that before except for PO boxes. She also said they didn't get their shipment of packages for yesterday until really late, like after 8, so there is no way it would have gone out.

But she checked and was able to grab another package for today that required a signature.

Holy shit sywagon, are you sure you don't want to check out my NeOn?

I wouldn't be offended if you wanted to touch up the edge on there too...

I got this set from the sale link that was posted (thanks to whomever, think it was meleante). The little blades look like they would have no trouble being small enough for the Sinn.

Honestly I am thrilled you sent the Defiant. You can only send a bag of dicks to people so many times. Now, along with Wisconsin Wheated, I can add this to my list of gifts for people I don't like

I shouldn't have said that about the NeOn, even in jest. Because even if you are offering in jest, it has me seriously contemplating it. That is my one Shiro in need of a good edge. It cuts right now, but it isn't great. It deserves better. But you and I know what will happen: whole new rabbit hole for you. And then what happens? I have a lawsuit against me for destroying your marriage or worse, a jealous wife hunting me down because you have become so devoted to Shiro that she must seek revenge. No. I must think of my children.

Thanks for the thoughts on the Wiha. Got me looking into what is out there. Your kit is nice, wish it was on sale. My 3/64" is just a hair too big (I think). It looks like 3/64" is about 1.19mm. So I have a Wera set inbound with a 1mm slotted screwdriver. We will see how that does.

No. LOL, my disease is not that bad. Although I have gone through 5 0452s and at least three 0562s...but never at the same time.

I am going to get some canvas micarta scales, so I took off the linen micarta to keep them in good order and I am using the factory scales for the interim.

Are you batoning through it?? My deer knives are all 4-5” and will split a pelvis/rib cage with moderate effort. I can’t imaging trying to clean a deer with that animal. That’s a camp knife.

Yeah I bought one fairly cheap on the secondary that has one of the clip screw inserts missing from the CF scale (I.e. for the left side clip position) so I don't need it anyway and you don't really even notice it. It feels much nicer in the hand than the little one. Flips and drops shut amazing, but has maybe 0.5 mm blade play so I need to tighten the pivot a bit but it's locktited and I haven't had time to mess with it.
