I've been putting another knife on Matt's list when he completes one. So, it's that time again. Next one will be similar to this, but steel guard and ironwood scales. Carving on the ironwood, too.

Personal preference ti or CF. Personally, that small knife, CF might be too light for my tastes. I would do TI. If I had any interest in that sort of thing. Which I don't. |

You can only send a bag of dicks to people so many times. Now, along with Wisconsin Wheated, I can add this to my list of gifts for people I don't like I shouldn't have said that about the NeOn, even in jest. Because even if you are offering in jest, it has me seriously contemplating it. That is my one Shiro in need of a good edge. It cuts right now, but it isn't great. It deserves better. But you and I know what will happen: whole new rabbit hole for you. And then what happens? I have a lawsuit against me for destroying your marriage or worse, a jealous wife hunting me down because you have become so devoted to Shiro that she must seek revenge. No. I must think of my children. Thanks for the thoughts on the Wiha. Got me looking into what is out there. Your kit is nice, wish it was on sale. My 3/64" is just a hair too big (I think). It looks like 3/64" is about 1.19mm. So I have a Wera set inbound with a 1mm slotted screwdriver. We will see how that does. |

No. LOL, my disease is not that bad. Although I have gone through 5 0452s and at least three 0562s...but never at the same time.
I am going to get some canvas micarta scales, so I took off the linen micarta to keep them in good order and I am using the factory scales for the interim. |

Lol View Quote Yeah I bought one fairly cheap on the secondary that has one of the clip screw inserts missing from the CF scale (I.e. for the left side clip position) so I don't need it anyway and you don't really even notice it. It feels much nicer in the hand than the little one. Flips and drops shut amazing, but has maybe 0.5 mm blade play so I need to tighten the pivot a bit but it's locktited and I haven't had time to mess with it. |
