Yes, I know there is a sub for knives but I see cool shit posted here in GD by people who aren't in the sub then forget what the title of the thread was and then get bored trying to search through every random knife related thread in GD.

This is what I usually carry for long bike rides:

It's pretty limited in distribution.  The can in the picture actually came from a hardware store in south Dakota.  You can order it online from them now though.

The teaching part has been fun, because on stuff that I don't get, I have to find YouTube videos or ask my sister for help until I understand so that I can help my kid. Lol. It's been fun to get the brain gears turning though.

This is a fun little knife. Not really my blade shape preference (but I'm liking it the more I look at it) and smaller than what I'd ideally want. But the materials made me do it. Very sharp detent and a rocket-fast blade. Stainless liners so it's hefty for its size. But it was only $80.

They do a pretty good swag pack over there.

First time I saw they were folders I was surprised. So well designed.

I have the auto 110 in brass and OD micarta and that goes together pretty well. Haven't carried it in ages though.

The clip has a pretty blunt lip to it so it's kinda hard to get started over a pocket.

I like copper and how it patinas up. For me, a silver bolster would be boring and I would've passed. I may take the clip to the sander then sandblast it at work. I'll have to carry it more before going that route though.

I kind of fit that description for a while, but I'm coming to appreciate some smaller knives provided they have excellent ergos. Obviously ergos are always important, but doubly so on a small knife in my XL hands.

Should have a fun new pocket sword soon to share with y'all, though, so the big 'uns are still great too!

Todays carry and I played around in the shop last night making a smaller non hollow version for next years ornament gift.
Still cold outside so might just crank out a bunch of these today. Nothing else planned. Might play with the wood stove down there. It seems I have a lot of little pieces of wood scraps around here.

Everything is too small.

With smaller knives I tend to fumble them around getting them out of my pocket and opened. Plus arthritis makes it harder to manipulate.
