The Valentine's Day gift my lovely wife just gave me. A pristine Marlin JM Cowboy Limited in .44mag/.44 Special. 24inch octogon barrel, beautiful checkered stock. Shoots really nice.

92 rifle. Mine is 357. One of the most fun rifles I have.
With 38s it's like a 22 you can reload for. |
|
Have Italian 1866. Silky smooth action, and a lot of my empties end up in the top of my cowboy hat. .44-40, btw.

Colt SAA IN 45 Colt with 5.5" barrel. Got a deer with it this year.

|
SAA with 4 3/4" barrel.
Mine is a Navy Arms clone (Uberti) in .357 magnum. It has the best balance and "feel" of any handgun I've ever handled. Not entirely practical but oh so much fun. |

For pistols, I'm partial to the 1858 Remington. For rifles I like the 92 and would love to have one in 45LC.

I just picked up a 1873 El Patron in .357.
My first SAA clone, only got .357 because I wasn't ready to pick up another caliber, and .38 special will do. |

I have a lot of favorites, but my current obsession is an 1851 Richards-Mason conversion with navy grips, in .38.

Winchester .38-40. My Grandpa still hunts with his. View Quote My Grampa had a '92 saddle ring carbine in 38-40. Took my first two whitetails with it. Sweet little rifle. It's still in the family, but my oldest cousin has it. I wasn't the only one to take game.with it. If I ever have the money that carbine and a SAA in 38-40 are at the top of my list. |

I got me a 1886 browning in 45-70 with the 26" octagon barrel it's never seen a smokeless load , only the holy black and the occasional duplex load.
