I thought it was a joke and he was bored etc... but now I pretty sure he is serious about it. I think he could win it all. Although he is not my guy. Americans are totally pissed off. |

Americans are pissed off, but Trump is not good enough to capture that sentiment in a system created and gamed by the left.
|

If he sucks in the primaries he will drop out.
If he does well he will go all the way. That's it, period. We shall see in the immediate future. |

Okay, my naive comrades, here's how this works:
Americans do not choose their leader. Political machines choose their figurehead. The Republican machine is not going to choose the megalomaniac-comb-over-reality-TV-star. Nor is the Democratic machine going to chose the sincere organic fool from Vermont. |
|
Realistically, the RNC will do everything they can to squeeze Trump out, and will probably be able to pull it off on the eve of the Convention. Trump announces an independent run, pulls off a major Ross Perot, and then Hillary gets her 8 years.

If he gets the nomination- and it seems he will - there will be some epic shenanigans, even criminal activities to keep him out of the White House. Both the Rs and Ds would rather see Hillary in there than Trump - by hook or by crook. It's their corrupt system and they need each other to keep their money and power flowing. If somehow he does make it all the way to The Whitehouse he will probably be assassinated. Cheers! -JC |

Another example - one of you anti-Trumpers claimed there was no video evidence of Muslims in America celebrating 9/11. Instead of saying "you're wrong, go find evidence to prove my point" I simply searched on YouTube and posted the video as evidence in my counter-argument.
That's how it works FYI |

Americans are pissed off, but Trump is not good enough to capture that sentiment in a system created and gamed by the left. View Quote Does your conclusion consider that hatin' own mexicans is hugely appealing to blue-dog-democrats; especially the redneck variety? Hatin' mexicans appeals to a lot of voters, not just rednecks. If I were Trump, I'd be working on deflecting the inevitable question, "How are you going to send millions back to Mexico?", toward "Why they should be sent back". Answering how is, of course, untenable. Answering why is where there's huge potential for appealing to the Left's bread-and-butter voters. The Left's bread-and-butter voters are very-very jealous of their hand outs being scarfed up by 'mexicans'. Add to that appeal the appeal to the 'mexican' haters of the Left's voter base who are as are many as there are on the Right. While he's answering why, the Left and Right will naturally be shouting him down, yelling "It can't be done! It can't be done!" thus exposing themselves, in the simpletons' minds, as candidates who don't want to do anything about immigration. It's not about what's possible or likely, or right or wrong; it's about getting enough votes to win by telling more voters what they want to hear than do the other candidates. Not directed at you in particular: it continues to amaze me how few people understand this. I believe Trump's campaign is either the first non-Leftist one to understand the election is nothing but a popularity contest, or, the first one to be able to play it that way. I'm pretty sure it's the latter; and it's why the candidates on both sides are begging voters to "Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain!" Again, not directed necessarily to you: I've been preaching on this Site and others for years--probably more then a decade: Only the ignorant and/or foolish demand honestly in a candidate running for POTUS. A POTUS candidate CAN NOT be completely honest and win. It's not that the candidates choose not to play the complete-honesty card. That card ain't even in the deck! |
