It's time for a reminder that the rules covering "kill em all" posts are still in place here. While we understand that everyone is worked up over recent events, and we have tried to give as much leeway as possible due to it, it's time to tone things down.
We don't want to have to start cracking down on everyone, so please think before you post. If you all can't manage this, we're going to start issuing lengthy timeouts or bans. We're not going to argue or debate what equals a kill em all post, or why one group should be exempt. If you want to roll the dice, no complaining if you roll and lose. |

There is a difference between supporting World War II style total warfare and supporting genocide.

Blaming an entire group for terrorism is like blaming every musician ever for Nickelback.

Tag. Threads like this always bring out the barracks lawyers and "but what about" guys. Their posts are usually entertaining.

Anyone betting on how many people will read this and still not listen? I'm betting at least 3; with of course a few threads on "Why was he banned?"

Being serious for a moment, it is worth noting that Site Staff and Moderators have done an exceptional job of balancing the "no kill em all" rule with allowing for a very open dialogue on subjects that are neither pleasant to discuss nor have easy answers.
I hope this thread isn't a formal announcement that such discussions are to be drawn to a close and that moderation will be more stringent going forward. I respect and support the prohibition on suggesting genocide (aka "sheet of glass" or "turn X into a parking lot"), but the degree of leniency shown recently has actually allowed for a discussion instead of vague innuendos and animated gifs. |

They were here first and you don't actually own that land. They should be free to come and go and tear your shit up as they please without you being a jerk and interfering with their rights. |
