What region most commonly says "whatnot"?

Megyn Kelly interviewed a Baltimore Police officer today. Voice and identity disguised. Certain inflections made me think it was a woman, certain consonants seemed soft, but could be wrong.

Anyway, he/she repeatedly said, "you know" and "whatnot". "Whatnot" isn't a Common Maryland expression, is it? I thought it was either southern or Midwestern. Correct me if I'm wrong. If so, or from any region other than Maryland, how hard will it be for the prosecutor to figure out who it is? She already put out threats/warnings to any Baltimore cops who leak info.

Whatnot is from CA, or at least my dad used it.

I say it. My speech is mostly midwestern. Indiana and Illinois.

Midwestern, IMO.

I saw it. My wife says I sound like my grandpa. Which is awesome.

ETA: I should start saying "at any rate" more too.

I've been known to say it. I'm from Southern California. I may have got it from reading books or seeing old movies. Or maybe from relatives. It sounds "normal" to me.

From the responses it seems widespread... And whatnot.

It's not common, but I've used it and I've heard people use it in Michigan.

Born and raised in southern IL and I say it. I suppose most people I'm around do too. Never really gave it much thought.
