How many of you have installed these gauges in your vehicles.I have bought equus gauge #8268,and it said you can have a problem if your alternator puts out more than 60 amps.Basically  all cars and trucks made since the early ninetys have been putting out more amps than 60. has anybody had a problem with this or any of equus  voltmeter gauges on modern vehicles. Thanks to all that help.

According to a quick Google, the #8268 is a voltmeter - not an ammeter.

Since it's not measuring current, it shouldn't give a rat's ass about how much current your alternator is producing.
