I've had dozens of that type,P-85,P-85mkII,P-89,P-90. If you can get them apart and polish all bearing surfaces and add a Wolff spring kit,you got it licked. Also I put a piece of rubber under the hammer so I can pull it through, over and over again. Mine is so slick now,it rivals most revolvers in DA mode! As far as the sights go,I like mine just fine and I'm 52. I also rounded "melted" the slide stop and the trigger and the hammer and pin piece sticking out on the right side...stainless is so nice to work with. Also counter sunk the hole in the hammer, looks way more classy. Have fun with it,take your time, then enjoy! Got my latest one last year for $250,tossed the low caps (keep new factory hi-caps in stock)threw some Hogues on it,guess what? not for sale,a keeper for sure!
