I tried to take the soft top off of my new Jeep for the first time. The zipper on the left window is seriously fucked. The two sides of the zipper are not lined up properly.
How do I get the zipper apart without breaking it? |

Are the teeth jammed or can you move the zipper?
I'd try moving the zipper all the way to the bottom of the short edge, then if it's free moving, pull the slack back to try and join it back with the long edge. If that makes sense. |

You are going to have to force it. Hold firmly to the side opposite the YKK and pull the tab the rest of the way down.
eta: Crap, didn't see that it had come apart on the one side.

I'd use a small screwdriver and gently pry the top portion off the teeth. When you get it lined up again give it a squeeze with some pliers to reattach.
