Oh man, if that .380 1911 is a good price, I may have to get one. I've wanted a Colt Gov't 380 for a while... passed up an opportunity on one about 10 years ago because I thought it was too expensive.

Fuck I wish Colt would produce more. That and the 1908.

Take my money now for a tcm conversion barrel. Been wanting to try this round but didn't want to get a custom barrel made or purchase the 9mm/22tcm 1911.

Looks may be deceiving. At only 6.5" long x 5.5" high it is pretty compact.

I am disappointed at the specs, as in not enough info. Certainly not enough to warrant a preorder for one... I will wait for some reviews or see if I can find one to try when they come out.

I saw that one looking around this morning. It'll probably be more expensive than the RIA/Armscor one... and I prefer the slabside slide... I usually can't stand front slide serrations.

I really wish they could get it in that physical size, but handle a 9x19 cartridge.

I actually handled one a couple weeks ago.

I'd guess it's larger than a Glock 42, but smaller than a Walther PK380.

It felt pretty nice, too. Slim and balanced.

Oh hell yes I will get a 22tcm conversion for my G17

ETA...well. depends on price. I might just get this:
9mm and 22TCM together. If I can spend a little more and get a whole gun I'll do that. But the caliber interests me. Mostly just for fun.

I think it's probably important at this point to emphasize this:

"22 TCM 9R / Conversion for GLOCK® ?- a package that allows Gen 1, 2 and 3, G17 and G22 owners to convert their pistol to chamber the new .22 TCM 9R round."

This is not the same .22TCM cartridge they've been selling for a couple years.

The 9R is a new cartridge that's closer to a normal 9mm, and Armscor intends to offer more conversions.

That's how it seems.  I would of thought they would of came out with a G21/G20 TCM conversion first.

They'd have to make 38Super/9mm magazines for the big Glocks. Magazines are the toughest thing to get right in a gun and they probably don't want to try to get a new kind of magazine working.

I'd expect it wouldn't be as stout as a PPK or other blowback .380. But I don't think it will necessarily be really soft shooting. I had a Colt Mustang once. It wasn't bad for it's size, because it was locked breech.
