Congratulations. You just contracted Black Rifle Disease.
Symptoms include an increase in magazines, optics, ammo and possibly additional Black Rifles. |

I was expecting Intacto Arms. I am dissapoint. ETA. Good choice for your first OP. |
I have a few RRA's. They're good, reliable, and accurate AR'S.
They are good guns. Buy a pile of magazines and ammo. Get out and sight it in.
Sorry to hear bro, you're wallet will be light for a long time.
RRA has gone to shit since the death of Larry and the 2013 panic. Hopefully you'll have better luck with them than I have in the last two years. I don't even recommend RRA any more to guys who will only shoot it once a year.
ok, nobody else wants to do it so i will. i hate to see the new guys get bad advice. do not buy a RRA, bushmaster or DPMS when you can buy a BCM, colt or DD. there is a difference in quality and if you are like me you use you AR for home defense. |
Why buy RRA when a Colt 6920 can be had at the same price point?

My first AR was a RRA, much like the one pictured that I got probably ten years ago now. It's a good gun, no complaints.
As long as you didn't buy it off your brother for $3,000, I'm sure it's fine.
I bet it's not parkerized under the gas block. Will fall apart shortly due to this. Bleh.

Back to say, lube the gun. 10/30, CLP, Slip 2000 EWL, KY Jelly (non water based), transmission fluid, or whatever. Keep the bolt and carrier wet.
WD40, Rem oil, and others can be too thin to shoot for very long without re lubing. |

Thanks everyone! I have already bought a bunch of things to add to it. Red dot sight, sling rails hand stop front and rear magpul sights The black rifle epedemic is taking over. Thoughts on a suppressor hmmmm... http://s6.postimg.org/efrtjd26p/81859.jpg View Quote Have you even shot it yet? I would shoot it before adding a bunch of stuff to it. Why did you buy a Magpul front sight when you have an FSB? |

"I think he ment hand stop for the front, and a rear Magpul flip."
Yes I ment this. Yes I have fired the AR, that's the reason I bought it. A friend of mine has one. |

Where can I get one of these "sling rails hand stop front" at?

It also features an A2 flash hider and a two-stage trigger, and it comes with one magazine. SSI 90464 comes with a tactical carry handle, and SSI 90465 comes with the RRA Dominator2 EOTech Mount. Ignore the haters. Have fun with your new rifle. Learn how to use it and always improve your skills.
Edit: You definitely need more than 1 magazine though. |

It will fit all your A2 flash hiders(after you replace the crush washers with the included metal washers) and is a good can. The rock River coyote rifle I have is a tack driver and has many hundred rounds down the pipe with no issues. Welcome to oUr sIcKNesS. |

Good job OP , pay no attention to the basement dwellers , they get cranky waitin for moms meatloaf to finish !
My first ar was a 16" rra middy on a dpms lower. I still have the upper and it gets used occasionally but my go to is a BCM. I have had good results with rra and have around 5k rounds through the upper.

They are shaped differently than standard safeties. I have one and like it, but not enough to bother buying more of them. http://www.brownells.com/rifle-parts/safety-parts/safeties/ar-15-star-safety-selector-prod9945.aspx View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:
