I'm 40 and I remember reading about them when I was a kid. I haven't heard a single mention of them anywhere since.

Started by Sir Francis Bacon.

Probably a chapter near you.

Esoteric Christianity/Hermeticism/Occultism. (pretty basic explanation, but that's about what they teach)

Max Heindl is one of their great writers.

I think Beverly Hall is their base, I think that's in Oceanside, CA.

more of this.  Methinks they have that pyramid in San Jose, CA.  They're into spiritual enlightenment based on ancient teachings of Hermes (or so they say).

Lol, I remember seeing their ads in Popular Science when I was a kid. I asked my dad about them and told me not to send in the form requesting info.  I just figured it was a weirdo cult.

Haven't noticed any of their ads in a while, but then I don't read many magazines anymore either. Except on the net. Never sent in the info request just cause I figured they must be weird - but don't know anything about them.

Here toy go....

If you have to walk around looking like that all the time, you may as well become Emperor of the Galaxy; you aren't going to be picking up women at the local watering holes

Who controls the British crown?
Who keeps the metric system down?
We do, we do!

Who keeps Atlantis off the maps?
Who keeps the Martians under wraps?
We do, we do!

Who holds back the electric car?
Who makes Steve Guttenberg a star?
We do, we do!

Who robs cavefish of their sight?
Who rigs every Oscar night?
We do!
We do!!!

Let's just say that it generates a steady revenue stream, and keeps drawing you further in, with promises of increasing "wisdom" and becoming more "adept".

You pay for each month's "lesson" and then you "report" to your advisor, on the results of your "experiments".
