Decades of coffee cups given as gifts for various reasons (trips, holidays, etc), has resulted in me literally having dozens of coffee cups laying around.  Some are packed away in boxes, some are in the cupboards...I only really use 3-4.

It's ridiculous.

Please, if any of you are thinking of giving me a coffee cup for Christmas....don't.

probably 30-40 and I use all but 6 because they are my wifes white mikasa. Only reason I use all of them is that I tend to "lose" my mug as I walk around the house. Then when I dont have anymore left I have a coffee mug round up and load up the dishwasher and then I am stocked up again.

I have a few.  One with a Skull & Crossbones; one from the 2014 Masters I got to attend.

But my favorite is my Saturn V mug.  'Murica!!

More than 50.

I used to buy my wife one from the places I visited on business. Tons and tons of them in the cabinet.

This.

I sort of collect them, mostly as souvenirs from places I have visited. Also have some gun and other hobby related ones.

I have about 6 good ones that are big enough to actually use, the rest got tossed out years ago.
20 ounces FTW. Those thimble sized mugs just annoy me.

I just counted - an even two dozen.
And I'm just a single guy....

I just went in the kitchen and counted 18.  I'm sure there are a handful more laying around in other rooms of the house.  I've never been a collector but maybe half of those are Disney cups that people have bought my wife over the years.  At least a third are oversized and will hold an entire 4-cup pot of coffee.  Those are the ones I use.

10ish.

At least, that's what I can think of off the top of my head.

One favorite that I use every single day

One nice travel mug I'll use on occasion

A matching set of eight in the cupboard

And I'm sure two or three dozen rat-holed away out in the garage ( why I don't know )

I only count full cups of coffee, so one.

If you don't have a well seasoned full time coffee mug, you're just an amateur coffee drinker.

8 maybe? I have a deep rooted opposition to large numbers of them.

Dad was in the service to mandatory retirement and spent the last third in retention, he can't turn down free shit.
As a kid I had to do dishes, the coffee mugs never stopped, it was ridiculous, three shelves stacked 2-3 high.

Ive whittled it down to 2. One I got when I put my Anchors on, and one travel mug I wrapped with 550 cord.

I get 1 a year from work, that I never use because they are pussy 12oz.

I usually end up with 1 or 2 more from gifts, etc., none of which I use because they are pussy 12oz.

I have an 18oz I use at work, and a 20oz I use at home. All the others I give away or toss.

1 18 oz. that I use daily, two 12 oz. in reserve for guests.  I have more insulated coffee cups for travel than I do for the house.

At least 40.  I use just 2 of them.  One clean one I use for several days until I put it in the dish washer and then use the other.  Rinse repeat.  My cabinets actually came loose from the wall a few years ago they are so overloaded with heavy dishes.

3 maybe? None of them are used to drink coffee though.
Not a big coffee guy.

We have 15 or 20 mugs in the house since we do not drink coffee or tea.

About 10. A few Peanuts mugs, a Glock mug,  a 4ID DISCOM mug, an Elvis mug,  and a few others I can't remember. I only use them for Metamucil.

used to have dozens, trimmed down the collection.  They make good targets.   Really, a few is all you need they last forever.  They tend to breed like tribbles.  Some for those can kozey's or whatever they're called.

I have a couple round the place, one full of pens and Sharpies, couple full of small gun parts. Don't drink coffee.

On another note, like the magazine thread, "HOW MANY COFFEE CUPS DO YOU REALLY NEED?!!!"

4 mugs that match my dishes. That's it.

And one thermal mug for the commute.
