Which one is Tom Cruise flying?
My guess is the one with the booster seat. |

I'm blessed to live in a part of the country where on any given day......I will see P-51's in the air.
Usually you hear the whistle of the dive....before you hear the growl of the climb. Great post OP. |

That sucker would be great for some CAS still these days I bet.

Such a cool thread. I think I was born in the wrong generation. I'm glad some of these machines are still around.

Wonderful to see and thanks for posting.
If I ever win the big Lotto and I'm still fit to fly I would have to have one. |

OK, now that we have the planes, and the pilots, some big movie house needs to round up the half dozen or so Messerschmitt's and B-17s that are airworthy, get a good director, a few big name stars, and make a bad-ass movie.
I am sick to death of CGI air war films, they just suck. |

352nd was well represented there... "Hell-er Bust" is one of the sexiest ones out there... However "Miss Helen" is an original 352nd bird flown by Ray Littge... sent to Sweden after the war and then to Israel where it was recovered from a playground... Restored to her wartime glory... |
