A guy I work with has these Ray Bans, and he can't remember what they are called. He says he bought them about 10 years ago. He wants to get some more, but Google isn't helping me at all. I figure someone here must know what these are. Thanks in advance.

Both of these look right. So I guess that weird looking frame is custom made? Or just not produced any more? I don't know much about the sunglasses world.

Ha, to be fair, this guy is from Indiana.

I'm not real crazy about these particular glasses, just want to help the guy out. I go between a pair of aviators and some Oakley whiskers myself.

The style I posted is correct. It is a vintage pair. It has an added skin on the face of what LowBeta posted. The model is W1677

It was probably a low run pair, or custom. But not custom custom.
