I know that this is mostly an issue of semantics, but would you consider someone who used caffeine pills, "weird'? I use them, but many people seem opposed to the idea. As if ingesting caffeine via pill is any different than simply drinking a coffee or energy drink. Am I missing something or are arguments against caffeine pills rooted in nothing but ignorant or emotional bias?

200mg x 100 = 20,000mg = $5 (pill)

160mg x 125 = 20,000mg = $187.5 - $250 (monster)

Caffeine alters your consciousness and should be banned. Pills are especially bad because they're like bad and stuff.

I have a sack of pure caffeine powder. Enough to last 5 or so years. I can caffeinate anything. If I feel like energy bacon I can have it.

I take one when I get up and 1/2 of one before the gym. It's cheaper, cleaner, faster, stronger.

I know you can get high as a kite on them if you take enough trying to write a long term paper from scratch (including library research back before computers) in 36 hours.

I'll have a red bull once and a while now but during my work on ships I would have one or 2 pretty much every day. IMO it's best to stay away from that kind of stuff. I usually have a cup of tea in the morning now and that's it. If I am well rested and not very active I feel worse after caffein.

Better than caffeine. Just try not to make it a daily habit.

Caffeine powder can and has killed people. Some of that stuff is so concentrated a table spoon is equal to 30 or so cups of coffee!

oh ya. Ban it

I would consider it "weird" to regularly use caffeine pills, but only because the norm is to take caffeine in the form of a beverage.

I've come to the understanding that caffeine is the only way I can make it through the night shift without feeling drowsy. I now drink coffee everyday. Something I never did before.

I gave up tobacco year ago and I could reluctantly give up booze but there is no fucking way I'm giving up caffein.  You would have to pry it from my cold dead hands.

Is it true you actually become less depressed permanently? Or is that simply an illusion you get as a result of quitting, a pride thing?

Genuinely curious.

Caffine and a bronkaid.

Stay alert and lose weight eating whatever you want.

Do not use irresonsibly.

Weird? Probably not. A warning sign of the potential to be an addict? Perhaps...

Just don't ever try Adderall :)

Fuck if I know.

All I know is without my morning cup of coffee or energy drink I'm an even less fun person to be around.

I'll pop a No Doz if I'm on a road trip and feeling tired while driving. Coffee irritates my stomach but the pills don't.

But I already know I'm weird, so that answers that question.

Where does one obtain this "pure caffeine powder"?
