that was probably me or colonelklink, youre welcome!
dog soldiers was shown in theaters [b]everywhere[/b] but USA (and Canada, maybe). i love that movie!! spoon is funny, especially during his fight at the end. the werewovles were a lot taller than one would expect, 7+ feet. the 3 actors were on stilts and in one scene inside the house you can see them holding onto the support beams to keep their balance. watch the movie with directors commentary on, it was pretty cool. |

Aimless, rent it, you wont be sorry.
The scene at the end when that dude tries to kick ass on the werewolf we pretty funny. I might rent it again tomorrow just for the hell of it. |

Zulu by the way is classic just don't expect DVD to be much better than VHS since it was an old movie and they did not digital remaster. Still a must and having read quite a bit on the action is pretty much historically acurate. Hell of alot more than PLATOON or Michael Foxes Viet Nam raper movie which thank God I can't even remember the name after saying "F... This" and leaving the theater. "Hell now that I read the posts, I dont know which one I read." [bounce] |

ARgon-Do you mean "The Brotherhood of the Wolf" the french film set in pre revolution France?
Fun film, a strange mix of horror, hong kong action film and period piece. Real long but I enjoyed it. |

Real long but I enjoyed it. I like it to when I saw it at the theatre, then i rented it and it was dubbed over like a cheap ass japanese samauri movie. I was so pissed i took it back to the video store and demanded an exchage. anyone know if the dvd version is in french with english subtitles? |

I watched "Brotherhood of the Wolf" on DVD - I think it had a french language option - not sure if there were english subtitles or not. Dog Soldiers sounds interesting - I almost bought it - should probably rent it first though.

Dog Soldiers is a great horror movie. I really though Spoon was gonna win that fight in the kitchen.
I thought the special effects were better than the CGI crap tha's so common now. |
