I could have held my breath and grabbed a few things then left. But it is in the room my safe is in, and I could not have stuck around trying to get into it. It's pretty much an area denial device, multiples can make the whole house a denied area.

Edit: It takes about 45 minutes to dissipate after you start ventilating an area.

Bought one of these a couple of years ago for the gun closet-still haven't set it up. Be interested to know how you set up yours-I was thinking mounted low on the inside of the walk in closet with the trip wire screwed into eye hook on the inside .

Frags are highly expensive and regulated. Edit: Sounds like a bucket of Muriatic acid above the door ought to have the effect you're looking for.
