The dozen or so mafia/business guys that run Russia would put another guy in and never miss a beat.
Much hay would be made of it though... America would get blamed, Ukrainians would get blamed... probably Poles and Jews would get blamed.... Obama would apologize... |

Because the Russian oligarchs would divide up Russia amongst themselves and would not have aspirations of expansion or the personality to rally the Russian people. |
