That is tragic beyond words. My prayers to the families affected by these losses. All this had to happen probably because some drunk drug-infested piece of sh*t just had to walk along a damn highway. Why people's lives have to be destroyed by low-lifes like this, I will never understand. [:(]

What a terrible accident. I hope his wife has family in the area to offer assistance.
Leaving behind a wife and a 7-week old is very saddening. 26 years old, an Army veteran, and a member of the LLE SWAT team - that is quite a major loss. Rest in Peace. |

This is awful. Even though danger is inherent in the job, it doesn't help to make any sense of it. Prayers sent.

I see nothing in the linked article about [b]ANY[/b] chemical impairment of the person involved in the original scuffle..... Scott |

Our hearts break with yours. I work for Norcross PD and we came close to losing one of ours this year when one of our Corporal's was shot in the head. We have a couple of guys from Eastpoint who now work for us as a matter of fact and I am sure that they knew Chris.

This would be bad news anytime but a few days from Christmas is just horrible. My prayers go out to his family and everyone who knew and loved him. [:(]
