Definatly function test it first. Those guns have a hit and miss record for function. If the gun malfunctions on the first day out on Christmas it will be sad sad affair

I hope yours works better than mine, I think it's a mag problem, oh and save those two extra front sites, Gunbert's fell off the first time he shot it.
