There ought to be background checks on those buying such point and [b]shoot[/b] cameras.

Camera's need to be registered and accounted for. Arn't there enough cameras in use already in America?

America is the leading producer of child pornography by a wide margin. It costs us in the ruined lives of the children affected.

Some of these new digital cameras can take HUNDREDS of pictures without reloading the memory chips. Who really needs 128 Mb of memory to take pictures of ducks on a pond?
