I seem to recall there being a Naval Reserve SWC unit in that area, Special Boat Team 22 (SBT-22) I believe.
Of course, these are the secret Halliburton mercenaries planting charges to blow the levees again.

I've gotten to play OPFOR for SBT before, stayed in their boathouse on San Clemente Island, etc... They gear up for all their transits and train along the way. Helmets are really useful on flat bottom river boats when you hit choppy water. |
