I cut and pasted this from the story on the shooting of the 13 year old boy in California.

Police need to kill more crazy people with guns and if you carry around anything remotely looking like a gun and don't drop it when police tell you too, guess what? " There were many posts like this. You're not overreacting. This is the world we live in now, with no actual thought about the words that spew out of their mouths.

Liberalism is a disease devoid of rational thought and facts. Its crutch is emotion.
Now the grammar Nazi's can be happy. |
|
|
|
People today want to be taken care of, protected, etc. People with that mindset don't want to take responsibility for their own actions & safety. They would rather have someone else protecting them, giving them a false sense of security.

Haven't police always engaged people using guns in a threatening manner with extreme force? How is this a new concept to libs?

It's getting more and more filled with political rhetoric, they don't see us as humans nor do we see them as humans either when we spout off. In the cases where someone actually has been shot because they had what the police thought was a gun do these people actually think that's good? I keep thinking the useful idiots will realize just how much of their own freedom they will loose in taking mine away, but it does not seem like it will turn out that way. Not until the same ones that take our guns tell them to sit down and shut up or else anyways.
|
|
Kind of jumping the gun a bit, don't ya think?
(pun intended) You are not justified in using deadly force simply because a person is holding a gun, even if it is a banned gun. Has anyone released or seen dash cam footage of the 13 yr old POINTING the toy gun at anyone? Or was the dash cam "malfunctioning" at this point. Possession of the gun may have been a crime (had it been real, remember it was a toy), but unless the kid pointed it at the cops or someone else, then that cop is a murderer. |
|
That is a frightening look into the liberal mind. Anyone that would advocate the execution of a person carrying "anything remotely looking like a gun" is mentally ill and should be incarcerated. As someone else noted 'Alex' does not want to take responsibility for themselves, but rather have the police use a device that they fear and loathe to take action that they would not.

I knew a guy like that from Connecticut who came here to work.
He was in the Army in Germany and said that if the police there see you with a gun in public they just shoot you first and ask questions later. This was during the Clinton years and actually complained that he wasn't paying enough taxes and was upset that his boy was spending more time getting DNA stains on intern's dresses rather than raising taxes. He eventually got fired and he went back to Connecticut. |

Not suprised at the answers. It's black & white. The only gray area is liberials with guns.

I still don't think the person doesn't have aim the rifle at the police in order for them to shoot. But I do agree merely having a rifle isn't a reason to get shot. The photo I saw attached to this story showed a very realistic looking plastic rifle. I have also heard of criminals putting florescent orange tape on the ends of the barrels to get a cop to hesitate just a heartbeat ... long enough to get the cop killed. |

The rules of engagement in Afghanistan are not this lenient. One fact that we do know for sure, that weapon was not fired prior to the police arriving or afterwards. Let's not get derailed here, clearly there are many people, including a 13 year member of the force, that believe one should be executed for possessing a firearm in public. Aimed the gun at them? Bullshit, kid probably turned around to see what all of the commotion was about. 10 seconds is how long it took them to drop him. |

I don't really see much of a problem there. If I am told to drop my gun and I don't, I would expect to be shot. Nothing new here.
If I am not mistaken, the typical GD response is something along the lines of "Play stupid games, win stupid prizes" anytime someone is shot by the police when ignoring orders to drop a weapon. ETA - my statement applies to adults. Not children. Kids, I'd probably be inclined to take a little more risk when dealing with them. |
