Outlander was decent.
Iron Sky was pretty funny. Centurion was a good and brutal movie with David Fassbender as a Roman centurion. Soldier with Kurt Russel. Underrated IMO. I have plenty more at home that I could reference if I was at my computer. |

One of my favorites, here's the entire movie: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z3-OMiv5rnE The picture is slightly dark, you might want to turn up your brightness a little bit. |

Lives of Others, of course.
Quoted:
Stardust. Neil Gaiman wrote a fantasy story about a medieval kingdom that exists beyond a wall in a 19th century British village. Anyone who grew up watching Princess Bride will like it. VERY clever dialog and a lot of dark humor. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ZkmgFpKdxQ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uopoXtR0Kjk 2008, and almost totally overlooked. View Quote Refuse to watch. Don't like the changes I've heard that were made from the book. Which was damn near perfect. |

It's worth it for the flawless choreography of a zombie swordfight, though. |

View Quote This movie is SO GOOD. One of the best war movies ever, right up there with Das Boot. |

Let the Right One In. Subtitled, available on Netflix. Really good vampire movie, and I'm not really into vampire movies.

View Quote Another of my favorites. This is turning out to be the best movie thread ever. So many great scenes, starting with the very opening. Score is good, too. |

The dubbing has absolutely no feeling in the voices and turns what could be a great movie into a guy reading a script while showing a video. No emotion, no feeling, nothing. As good as the movie is otherwise I'm sure it's very different in the original language. Interestingly though, the dubbing matches with the characters' mouths speaking pretty well-unlike the early Bruce Lee movies and many other Chinese karate movies. |
