I was made sterile today after creating five children with my wife so any questions from the young guys feel free to ask.
|
|
No questions, but welcome to the world of worry-free sex! You're gonna love it.
|
|
Not a question but a bit of advice even though you did not ask.
If they don't already, your balls are going to look like plums. Frozen peas on them as directed and follow directions regarding when you can exert yourself again. You will feel pretty good soon but exerting yourself too early will make bad things happen. |
|
my two dogs got real fat afte their vasectomies. no neuticles for them, though.
goodluck man... |
|
How much did the gelding cost, and did you smell the burnt bacon?
|
|
I had mine in January 2000. Did the doc hold up what looked like a piece of spaghetti in forceps and ask if you were sure you wanted the other side complete?
|
|
We (the wife and I) had always thought you guys would go for double digits.
Feel better soon my sore balled buddy. |

View Quote This. You need to date an ice pack for a couple of days. Don't try to rush the process. Doc told me there was still 30 days worth of swimmers in the system. Gave me a plastic cup for a sample in two weeks. Told him the cup would not fit in my wife's mouth. |
|
Congratulations! You'll enjoy sex a lot more not having to worry about unwanted side-effects, but keep using protection until the doctor confirms you're complete safe. Sometimes they don't stress this strongly enough.
Voice of experience: When they say take it easy for a few days, THEY MEAN IT! |

Why not have her get fixed? The procedure is safer, cheaper, less invasive, and more effective for males. Especially this. My insurance (Blue Cross) covered 100%, no copay. They figure it's cheaper than paying for a pregnancy and delivery. |
|
I had mine done 4 years ago, after work on Friday, and was back at work on Monday. I realized after one percocet that I didn't need them, and the naproxin was more than enough with the frozen peas.
'So my question... Are you saving the pills for Monday like I did? Best day at work ever! |

Did ya puke while the Meds were wearing off?
You'll be walking very gingerly for next few Days. It will hurt. |
|
Meds wore off a couple of hours ago but the wife had left over pain meds from her last delivery. They don't even give you pain meds anymore they just tell you Tylenol and frozen peas. Screw that nonsense my nuts are still a little sore with prescription pain meds.
ZW we've always had our mind set on five but we are leaving the option to adopt down the road after our five are a little bigger. |

I have to get it done soon.
I am scared shit less. Any advice? |

I was surprised because I listen to screaming kids all day and knew I was done. Just relax set the date for it and get that prescription. |

View Quote I had mine done earlier this year (and at just the right time: before I had any kids!) I didn't experience any swelling. I sat on the frozen peas the day of the surgery, took my percocet for a couple days and I was good to go. I like how afterwards I was like, "a valium beforehand would have really smoothed this whole process out." And they were like, "Oh, you should have asked, we give those to whoever wants them." |

Well, all those dudes that said that it didn't hurt were either stupid, or liars. My recovery was good, but the procedure sucked ass. It's like being kicked in the nuts for 45 minutes, you feel it in your stomach when the Dr. pulls the cords-fuck!

Need some Netflix ideas I've got a wonderful 48 hours of doing nothing.

There is a guy that does vasectomies in back of my local Petsmart after 9pm M-F. Only cost me a carton of Kools. He says this offer is only available if you have Obamacare though. He promised a 50% success rate.

View Quote The only part that made me flinch were the little snaps from the spray type injector that delivers the area anesthesia. The snaps to the scrotum weren't bad, but the snaps to the actual vas deferens before he cuts it made me flinch a little. Like I said before though, with a valium it would have been smooth and relatively painless. |

I had issues after mine.
Advice: don't go jogging with your dog any time in the next month Also, I sometimes get dime-sized cysts on the side of my nuts where the sperm in back up, blow out, and not magically "absorbed" like the little pamphlet said. Worse case of blue balls ever. They don't tell you your load size goes down, testosterone can go down, your junk can shrivel/turtle more, and your chance of testicular and prostate cancer can go up. I also think some women, including my wife, subconsciously don't think of you as as much man anymore. Like a primitive instinct thing - you cannot father children with me. |

Don't step too fast off any high curbs, your nuts will feel like those Clacker toys the kids played with.
