How much per day would you pay someone to house sit, and care for two dogs and a cat?

I think a friend paid me like $25 a day to housesit her house when she went on vacation.  I was a young college kid so it was no big deal for me.  Said it was fine to raid to fridge too.

Yes. I'd even pay my own kids if they lived nearby.

How many times did you make sure all panties were safe?

When we travel, I pay my sister $40 per day. She comes by twice, morning and evening, to feed our two cats. Usually spending a little time with them in the evening.

Load the fridge. Enough cash for a couple pizzas.

Ok, I might have peeked in that drawer once but that's it.  I was 18, sue me.

Last family trip my parents paid someone $40 a day to come by the house twice a day, let the two dogs out and feed them.

Any other time it is me doing it for free... Family...

I always figured room & board is about all it's worth, unless you can't find anyone trustworthy.

We pay $20 a day plus a tip, they're free to take our hounds with them back to their house to watch them, or to stay at ours. But I reckon thats pretty cheap.

Kennels charge that per critter, so that's not bad.

If they stay at your house with the animals 20$, food and drinks stocked up for them.

If they do not stay 40$.

I would think $50 a day.  Anything less is a steal.

Plus the local kennels suck.

This would be live-in house sitting. Not just visits.

I pay $50 a day, but she stays overnight and takes care of the house as well as the dag.
