My wife nailed who the sniper was 2 weeks ago - she said it was a Muslim, probably a home-grown Black Muslim, and said that the notes were eerily childlike - like a teenage who'd watched too many movies.

So, here is her take on what the news media will do and talk about:

Aside from the usual jabs at the gun itself, they will focus mainly on the fact that the shooter was ex-military, and they will slowly but surely start to focus on the Nation of Islam, Muslims in general, and how many "sleepers" there might be in the US military.  Of course, the anti-gunners will be in a frenzy about the rifle and Bush's ties to Bushmaster, but the vast majority of the public will be focusing on the shooter, the teenager, and the fact that the shooter was ex-military.
