FBI serving search warrants in Tacoma Washington.
KING TV in Tacoma is reporting that they are looking for a body. Fox is also reporting that other search warrants are being served across the country. Didn't we just arrest a terror cell in Seattle/Tacoma? |
FOX has it to...Says they are looking for a body buried in the back yard of a house...Fox also says several other warrants being exicuted ACROSS THE COUNTRY IN SEVERAL STATES.
Was'nt it up in Washington State or Oregon where they has that little Middle Eastern Shooter school set up? |
There was a radical muslim cell busted in Portland recently (they're out on bail courtesy of their mosque, BTW) but I remember reading how Seattle was a especially vulnerable to terrorists, being near Canada, lots of immigrants, etc.
Jeez, copycat psycho or Al-Qaeda taking notes. Either way, very unsettling. |
I wonder if they are looking for the body of the person that owned the stolen Credit card that the shooter wanted the ransom money transferred to?
I'm telling you what, If they are running searches all across the country, The lone angry gunman theory just went right out the window. |
Fox's Brian Wilson's BEST source confirms search warrents being served around the country.
Smells like international terrorism |
I would like to invoke my 5th amendment rights. ;)
They are saying more search warrants will be served across the country. The cell in the Portland area didn't have a school set up there. I guess one or more of that "cell" joined our military to get basic training, then quit. The "leader" worked for the mayor at one point. Anyway, they were just seen shooting at a gravel pit. I certainly hope everyone that shoots at a gravel pit isn't a terrorism suspect. That is the best place to go shooting in the Northwest. |
Check your local stations! Where are these other raids going down? We have people all over the country that are members, we have to be able to scoop the media on this.
No way! This is no terrorist plot. That is one large backhoe. They are talking about the ground penetrating radar they will use to gather up your buried guns.

Portland, OR. Reporting in...

A couple of possible outcomes out of this:
- If the shooter sees this coverage and realizes that law enforcement is about to uncover something that will reveal his identity, he may very well attempt to escape into some type of deep cover....or he just might say "screw it" and decide to go out in a firefight. |

komo news is reporting that the fbi was on the roofs of houses and pulling off branches and taking tree stubs for evidence. It looks like he did some shooting here, now they are looking for the bullets.
Fox is talking about the sniper wanting to transfer funds ($10M) to a credit card. They are searching for metallic objects in Washington.
I just saw them load a corpse into the Uhaul. Anyone got anymore info, this is getting interesting.
Fox is reporting that they are now looking for shell cases-not bodies-and checking on the background of a former soldier who used to be based at Ft. Lewis.
From the helos in the air you can see that they've sliced up a stump of about 3' dia and removed it from the prop. doing grid search w/metal detector in the back yard now.
they said something about a former Ft. Lewis soldier that lived there at one time, could be one of the guys that was picked up in Portland that had enlisted in the Army then dropped out after basic. Don't remember if he had ties to Ft' Lewis or not. |
Nevermind. Wife just pointed out that it was a stump not a body.
Looks like they've hauled off some boxed "heavy" things.
check your cache..... |
This is the search:

NWCN and the local stations pretty much have the same helicopter coverage as FOX. Oh, and about the Portland thing... I guess I was thinking about a different terrorist cell. I think there were some Puget Sound people that were building a camp or compound down in the Portland area too. I'll have to research that a little more.

Fox is now reporting that the FBI has been there since 9:00PM last evening.
Their man in Montgomery County is reporting that all warrants and searches are for evidence, no arrests are anticipated. |
My guess: The guy(s) has been using the stump for target practice with suppressed rifle. Casings all over the yard. Ballistic evidence JackPot! That's it. |
Any ideas on the tree stump?
Wouldn’t think anybody would’ve had been shooting into it, esp. with a .223. Whatever's happening, I really hope it pans out!! |

A guy on the seen just reported that the u-haul is half full, and that everything in the u-haul is covered.
And who does target practice in their back yard in the middle of town... .223's are a little loud.

View Quote That was exactly my guess too. ArmdLbrl, he probably used an illegal supressor when he was practicing to be a killer? Possible. |
I would find it hard to believe he was practicing with a suppressed rifle - otherwise, why wouldn't he be using it now so as to be even more covert?
IMHO, the media whores have no idea what's going on. They keep on spewing speculation after speculation. By the way, did anyone catch Fox reporting that Chief Charles "the Ladies Man" Moose has a PHD? hehehe... |

Even a suppressed .223 is going to be awfully loud because of the sonic boom.
Maybe he was shooting from inside the house? They’re getting a lot of hits in the yard, but that could easily be nails or such. |
HA HA HA HA!!! did you see that guys mullet!!...guy got interviewed on FOX news with a huge mullet. Its great!
CNN just showed an enormous tree being hauled off by that little'ol backhoe.
They are talking about the search being related to a former Ft. Lewis soldier.

The one owned by an illegal alien from Canada, specializing in training Middle Eastern men in the finer arts of demolition, small arms and light rockets? |

Cheif of police in Tacoma will not even say that they removed a tree stump. WTF?
Uh-oh...I've got several lead-filled stumps on my property. And I think I hear choppers.
cynic |
Here we go. Next they will be knocking on YOUR door, since you have one of them .223 caliber rifles. I doubt the supressor thing. They are legal to own here in Washington, but not shoot. That area is too congested for someone to take a supressed rifle out in his back yard, without freaking out the neighbors. There are too many gravel pits you can drive to in this area to shoot without having to see another person, to take the risk of firing it in a little back yard.
shepard smith had to cut off the forensic's guy cuz shepard was starting to sound like an idiot...
AP says the guy has lived there for 8 years, and that the cops are looking for brass and bullets with his permission.
i've been out in the back yard throwing out 150 pounds of steel #8 shot.
what did i miss? |
