They decided to virtually ban guns several years ago.

Now they are facing quite a crime wave, and nobody understands why.  The situation has changed a bit from earlier this year, but when the new numbers came out, everybody including the police were completely at a loss to understand how guns could be removed from civilized society, and crime involving guns not completely disappear, or how the criminal element was motivated enough to smuggle weapons from France.  The dialogue has changed to more of a discussion of criminal behavior, away from gun control, but we do not have to ban guns to get to a discussion on criminal behavior.  We already know gun control isn't the solution, because the guns aren't the problem.

Criminals and criminal behavior will not be legislated out of existance.  They must be caught and punished, and it must become widely understood which parenting methods encourage lawless, harmful attitudes, and they must be avoided.

I'm not preaching to the choir.  I am suggesting ways for everybody who reads to inform the fencesitters and antigunners.  Plus, the visitors may read this, and consider my points.
