And therefore has no business ordering men into war.  This is a pithy comment I read on a certain board (DU)

I would have responded there, but I dont want to go through the  hassles of registering just to get banned after one post.  So I'll post my retort here:

Did Abraham Lincoln have combat experience?

Woodrow Wilson?

FDR?

Nope, nope and nope.  Combat experience isn't a qualification for a commander in chief to send our men to war.
