Federal probation officers got tired of having to check out alerts from monitoring bracelets so they told the monitoring company to not alert them.

edit The pedophile had been caught by the feds on a kiddie porn sting. I don't do federal criminal work but my understanding is that kiddie porn has become a big issue for federal law enforcement (not sure if that's locally or nationally).

At the end of the article is said he was beaten in prison by an inmate. Even criminals look as these guys like scum, so why don't we do the world a favor and take him on a long LONG walk out in the woods. I'm sure a single .45 round is a lot cheaper than the costs of keeping him incarcerated.

Man, our entire criminal justice system is seriously fucked up. It used to be most of the fail was in prisons but it seems prisions are the only places that are half-way on the up and up these days. Go figure.

Everyone involved with that "do not bother us" notification should be prosecuted as a accessory to the crime. I'd bet if they were to go up in front of a jury they would be tee-totaly fucked.

Start putting some of those ass-hats in prison and it will make the others think it might be a good idea to do their fucking jobs.

Too many crooks, not enough cops. (not that I want a police state with millions of cops) but when you allow society to decay to the point that folks exponentially commit crimes without serious punishment, then you will eventually reach a point that the criminals will out number the good citizens. We're almost there now.
