Bushmaster Varmiter, SOG Pentagon Elite, and a SOG Recondo. The rifle is on land, and the knives are from a friend who delivers in the next couple of days. (He is probably reading this!).

Lunch....

Where else in the world can you get good CLEAN Chinese food?  I'll be buying a medley of beers later, ranging from Mexican to Japanese, what other country takes such pride in offering EVERYTHING TO EVERYONE?

This is why we should be proud of this country.  It offers us the little things that make up everyday life and the big things that we mostly take for granted.

Burned through about 400 rounds of .40 and another 300 or so .45 doing close quarter drills. I also ran a few hundred through my AK-74 clone, since I was already at the range.

I was difficult to raise funds sufficient to make a complete purchase.  I have however, earmarked $130 towards a $250 dollar SOCOMM side charging upper to go on that U.S. Property marked RRA lower that should be arriving any day now.

As I mentioned in your previous thread you caught me at a bad time  due to numerous "projects" that I had budgeted for in the cue.  I'm always planning my next purchase before the "secret stash" is depleted.

A Springfield Armory M1A. Been kicking around the idea for a little while. Finally got word that our bonus, which I didn't think we were going get, was approved. Can't wait to bring her home.

Bought a 10/22 Ruger at Gander Mountain. Saw one at Dicks for $150.00. GM matched this price. Took the scope off my old one, and put it on my new one. My old one is going to a pal at work. We had a bet going, he'd quit smoking, and I'd lose 20LBS. He won, so I figure this would be a nice present!!!!!

I didn't GET it, but I talked to my dealer about my HK USP .45.

Apparently somebody dropped something in the wrong pile, and while the pistol was marked for my dealer, it hadn't gone anywhere.

Should be here in a day or so.

Didn't buy anything, but I did get a lot done on my 80% lower. Upper, stock, and grip are fit. The only things left to do are the mag catch and bolt stop. Hope to get to shoot it Sat.

After attending a 9/11 memorial service with my wife, we had lunch at Applebee's.  For some reason, I was drawn to order the Riblets platter.  Mmmmm...pork (It's the other white meat.)

It just seemed appropriate, you know?

Yup,  I had a big ol' ham steak for dinner.

Then went and shot my new Springfield 1911.

Three 16-packs of Duracell Ultra AA batteries and a four-pack of Dust Off at Costco! (Got some location shoots to do the rest of the month.)

Now, I'm paying bills...after I sent $$ to Scram for a new EOTech 511 he had sitting on the shelf.[:D] That'll be my big purchase for the month--besides the usual mortgage, credit card, insurance, etc. bills. [:(]

I don't know if talking to recruiters on the 12th is the same, but that's all I could do.  No money, no guns.
