She was cleaning out some junk stashed in jewelry boxes and found the tag for her favorite childhood dog, "Spike".  Note the date, 1953... 49 years old.  Does your wife never throw anything away too?

I was outside drinking beer and BBQing one evening when I decided to bust out the metal detector and search the back yard. Found three city dog tags (1970's) and some pistol slugs, wonder what the previous house owners ate for dinner?

When I was moving my wife-to-be out of her apartment to my house, she tried to get me to move a laundry basket full of bent-up wire clothes hangers.  (Not [i]good[/i] ones, mind you, but mangled ones!)

Yesterday, about 7.5 years after that day, we were cleaning out the garage.  She still keeps a lot of junk, but at least she's willing to throw some of it away!
